Wood BTU

The amount of heat content per cord of wood varies with the type of wood used and the moisture content of the wood. While some waterstove manufacturers claim that you can burn wet or green wood in their stoves, we recommend seasoned hardwood in our stove. If you have to dry the wood as you burn it, you are wasting energy that could be used to heat your house.
